As the operator of a number of buildings, an overview over all systems and the immediate assignment of fault messages is crucially important to you. The GEZE ServicePortal takes this task off your hands and offers you the option of passing on fault messages online.

You will receive an overview showing:

  • all projects
  • the systems in the relevant projects
  • the maintenance situation of the various systems
  • detailed technical information regarding the individual systems

Your access is password-protected and your data is constantly updated.

GEZE supports you in networking, managing and maintaining your building management systems - with web and technology-based services. We focus on the central controls of your systems and on ensuring short response times in the event of system failure.

Excellent maintenance service

The technology and web-based service tool GEZE QuickCare enables automatic fault reporting and remote access to the drive technology. This means short response times when it counts. At the same time, fewer site visits to deal with faults are needed thanks to the remote access function. A double benefit to the customer as QuickCare saves both time and money.

The advantages of GEZE QuickCare at a glance:

  • Maintenance: GEZE Service maintains systems annually based on the check list included in the flyer.
  • Safety check: GEZE Service performs an annual check, in accordance with the legal requirements, of the operational safety of all security and control systems that form part of the door system (twice a year for escape route doors).
  • Remote maintenance: Data can be monitored across different buildings thanks to ongoing notifications of the system status via the GPRS network.
  • Qualified troubleshooting: In the event of a system fault, GEZE Service technicians receive an exact description of the error.
  • Remote maintenance/system reset: In the event of electrical faults, GEZE Service technicians can easily complete a system reset via remote dial-in.
  • Monitoring movement data: On request, movement data for the automatic door can be provided to the client in the form of an Excel table.

Security in line with web technology

The new web-based building system WebCare offers a holistic approach to building security and control for door, window and security technology. WebCare enables all product components - even those from other manufacturers – to be networked, monitored easily and controlled safely online.

The new EU Construction Products Regulation

Declaration of performance as a new product proof

The new EU Construction Products Regulation (BauPV) came into force on 1 July 2013. It is legally applicable and replaces the previous Building Product Guideline (BPR). The BauPV relates only to products for which harmonised European product standards are in place. This affects:

  • GEZE door closers - hEN: EN 1154
  • GEZE integrated all-glass system swing doors - hEN: EN 14351
  • GEZE safety technology - hEN: EN 179, EN 1125
  • GEZE SHEV - hEN: EN 12101-2

The most update to the regulation concerns the manufacturer's "declaration of performance". It replaces the previously applicable declaration of conformity, and describes the concrete and provable performance of a product. The CE marking obligations have also been extended.

The compact service contract is designed to provide perfect service and a quick response to repair requests at reduced hourly rates.

This package offers the following benefits:

  • Maintenance: GEZE Service maintains the systems annually according to the checklist. We recommend a maintenance of escape route doors twice a year. We provide and have a record of a plant-specific test book. Performance records are made at the object directly.
  • Safety check: GEZE Service performs an annual check, in accordance with the legal requirements, of the operational safety of all security and control systems that form part of the door system. The audit is documented in a test book; the plants are marked with an audit sticker. If we recognize safety-relevant defects we create a proposal how to remove it.
  • Reduced hourly rates: As a maintenance customer, we offer you reduced hourly rates for repairs or visits to rectify faults as carried out by our service technicians, which are valid at this time.
     

This service package does not include the repair or replacement of consumables or defective parts. In agreement with your GEZE representative on-site, our service technician can be exchange/replace these parts, for which you will subsequently be invoiced.

Comfort service contract

The Comfort service contract represents perfect service with even greater convenience for you, plus a further 12-month guarantee.

This package offers the following benefits:

  • Maintenance: GEZE Service maintains the systems annually.
  • Safety check: GEZE Service performs an annual check, in accordance with the legal requirements, of the operational safety of all security and control systems that form part of the door system (twice a year for escape route doors).
  • Reduced hourly rates: As a maintenance customer, we offer you reduced hourly rates for repairs or visits by our service technicians to rectify faults, which are valid at the time of use.
  • Consumables included: Defective and/or worn consumables with a value of less than €25.00 will be replaced free of charge as part of the maintenance contract. GEZE Service will also dispose of the exchanged parts at no cost.
  • Round the clock availability: The GEZE ServiceLine® +49-1802-923-392 (€0.06/calls from a German landline, mobile max. €0.42 /minute) is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
  • Keeping track: We provide test documentation and a system pass for each system. Each system comes with a seal of quality. During the maintenance work, we introduce your staff to the system’s operating functions as necessary.
  • Dealing with faults without additional costs: Our service technicians are available from Monday to Friday 7.00 am to 5.00 pm. Dealing with faults outside of our business hours and short reaction times within one day apply separately billing rates.
  • Contract term: The contract period is three years.The contract extends itself for one year, if it's not not canceled by a written notice within a deadline of one month. The warranty period for systems and products supplied by GEZE is 36 months if a maintenance contract is taken out with GEZE Service within three months of commissioning. The warranty period is otherwise 12 months. During this period, replacement parts will be provided at no cost.

Comfort PLUS service contract

The Comfort PLUS service contract offers you the following advantages:

  • Maintenance: GEZE Service completes maintenance annually (twice for emergency exits) based on the check list included in the flyer. You will be provided with a system-specific inspection log book. Service records are created on-site.
  • Safety check: GEZE Service performs an annual check, in accordance with the legal requirements, of the operational safety of all security and control systems that form part of the door system (twice a year for escape route doors). The check is documented in the test log book and a sticker is affixed to the system. If safety-relevant defects are found, a cost estimate is prepared.
  • Spare parts included: Defective parts are replaced free of charge as part of the maintenance (consumables must be within the margin of wear in accordance with DIN 31051:2003-06). GEZE Service will dispose of the exchanged parts at no cost.
  • Round the clock availability: The GEZE 24h Service Hotline +49-1802-923-392 (€0.06/calls from a German landline, mobile max. €0.42/minute) is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
  • Quick fault correction at reduced hourly rates: Our service technician will visit at a reduced fee within 24 hours of the fault being reported. This service is available from Monday to Friday 7.00 am to 9.00 pm, except public holidays.
  • Keeping track: We provide test documentation and a system pass for each system. Each system comes with a test seal. During the maintenance work, we introduce your staff to the system’s operating functions on request.
  • Contract term: Contracts are for four or five years depending on the customer’s requirements. The contract cannot be terminated during this term. The contract may be terminated by providing three months’ notice in writing to the end of the contract term. If the contract is not terminated, it will be extended by one year and will continue as a COMFORT service contract. GEZE Service will extend the contract automatically and send the customer notification of the extension with the new terms and conditions.

Exclusive service contract

The Exclusive service contract is the complete package from GEZE. Perfect service at any time, with a fixed budget.

This package offers the following benefits:

  • Maintenance: GEZE Service maintains the systems annually.
  • Safety check: GEZE Service performs an annual check, in accordance with the legal requirements, of the operational safety of all security and control systems that form part of the door system (twice a year for escape route doors).
  • Reduced hourly rates: We offer you reduced rates for modifications and technical upgrades.
  • Work and material costs included: During the contract period, GEZE Service ensures that the value of your system is maintained. All repairs, including all parts and labour, are included in the price, unless the damage was a result of gross negligence or was caused by a third party.
  • Round the clock availability: The GEZE 24h Service Hotline +49-1802-923-392 (€0.06/calls from a German landline, mobile max. €0.42/minute) is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
  • Quick response to faults: Our service technicians will be on site within maximum 12 hours of the fault notification being received: Monday to Saturday from 7.00 am to 9.00 pm, Sundays and public holidays from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm.
  • Keeping track: GEZE Service performs an inventory of all existing systems, and prepares and maintains the system list. We provide test documentation and a system pass for each system. Each system comes with a seal of quality. GEZE Service also coordinates the various different trades and their services.
  • Guaranteed safety: If a system cannot be repaired, GEZE Service ensures that the relevant access point is secured - engaging a security service if necessary.
  • Online access: If you are a customer with an Exclusive contract, you have online access to your project and system data, allowing you to view full and updated performance data at any time.

Vario service contract

GEZE Service has established itself as the expert in industry-specific service concepts. We discuss your individual work procedures with you, and adapt to suit your requirements. It means that you get to determine the scope and intervals of your maintenance services visits. Our Vario service contract means you pay only for the services you actually use. It’s easier on your budget. You also determine the optimal time frame for scheduling maintenance work in your daily routine. So we don’t get under your feet!
