GEZE at Advanced Building Skins 2025: sustainable building automation that pays for itself
At the Advanced Building Skins Conference from 3 to 4 November 2025 in Bern, GEZE will focus on the added value of intelligent building skins. At stand 26, the door, window and security specialist will provide individual advice – as well as concrete figures for investment decisions using the myGEZE Connectivity amortisation calculator.

As the centrepiece of energy-efficient and sustainable architecture, building skins today have to perform a variety of tasks: automatically regulate light incidence and ventilation, provide sun protection and minimise the influence of cold or heat. GEZE supports operators and investors with smart solutions that help façades improve building energy efficiency while also making them more secure and offering greater comfort in everyday life.
This is made possible by the intelligent interaction of automated door and window drives and special sensors that detect persons and sense external environmental influences as well as the indoor climate. At the heart of GEZE's connectivity strategy is myGEZE Control – a modular, digital platform that networks door, window and safety technology, integrates it into different areas of building management, and makes it easy to control.
When investments pay off

How can companies know when their often high initial investments in building automation will pay off? GEZE will be addressing this key investor question at the 20th Advanced Building Skins Conference at the Kursaal Conference Centre in Bern. The myGEZE Connectivity amortisation calculator provides transparent KPIs and shows when investments will pay off. It covers a wide range of different scenarios – from increasing building efficiency through climate-active façades and building monitoring for greater security and reduced personnel costs, to door automation for smooth processes and efficient operation. It also provides calculations for improvements in air quality and energy efficiency through multifunctional smoke and heat extraction systems. This provides operators and investors with a basis for decision-making that takes into account usage scenarios, load profiles and indirect effects such as productivity gains. The calculation is carried out in an individual consultation with GEZE specialists, ensuring that input data is valid and the assessment is reliable.
Focus on consultations
The trade fair focuses on consultations and discussing ideas and experiences with operators and investors. Visitors can arrange appointments for amortisation calculations and consultations directly at the stand. GEZE would also be happy to put you in contact with regional experts after the trade fair.
