Last Friday, GEZE celebrated the 2024 summer festival at its headquarters in Leonberg. The family business from Leonberg dedicated its summer festival to honouring employees – in particular 34 staff members from different areas ranging from production to administration who were celebrating anniversaries with the company. They were the true focus of the evening. 29 employees were honoured on the main stage by the management for their 25 years of service and 5 employees for their 40 years of service.
Thomas Berner, who has been working as an industrial electrician at GEZE for 25 years, was one of those honoured. He handles small and large tasks alike in the field of electrical engineering at the company site in Leonberg. Last year, for example, he was responsible for installing the new photovoltaic system on the roof of the production building. Commenting on the celebrations, he says: "Even after so many years, it is still something special for me to work at GEZE and to contribute to the development of this great company. Evenings like this show me once again what a great team spirit there is here."
It is a very special honour for us this evening to pay tribute to employees who have been contributing to the development and success of GEZE for several decades with their commitment and loyalty.
Sandra Alber, Chief Officer Legal & Finance at GEZELocal food trucks offered plenty of food and drink for guests. Two musical performances created a great atmosphere: The GEZE band Building Beats gave their first big performance in front of an audience, then La Diri from Stuttgart got the employees in a party mood.
